Systems Engineer with Sharepoint Experience

Summary of Position:

NetEffects is seeking a multi-functional Systems Engineer with Sharepoint Experience to join a highly regarded local client.

 

Required Skills:

· Two (2) plus years experience Windows Sharepoint Services and/or Sharepoint Server

· Five (5) plus years experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003-2007, Outlook 2003-2007

· Experience with Lotus Notes Release 5.0+

· Experience with Office Communications Server and Communicator, BlackBerry, and exposure to Web 2.0 technologies

· Experience with Windows Server and Client Operating Systems

· Experience with Instant messaging technologies such as Messenger, Sametime, etc

· Must be able to work in a team that has a high level of change and flexibility on projects with very aggressive timelines and deliverable dates

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences

 

Responsibilities:

· Systems Engineer will work with a team of Windows and AS/400 system engineers, administrators, and network engineers to maintain and enhance the collaboration infrastructure

· Tasks will be varied and range from day-to-day support of 2nd / 3rd level help desk tickets to assisting with planned updates and improvements to corporate system

· Systems Engineer will also be responsible for all aspects of engineering and operational support including help desk tickets, change management process, user configuration, system maintenance, upgrades, and system integration

· Will troubleshoot complex problems with root cause analysis and communicate problems and solutions both verbally and in writing to customers and management

· Will interface with corporate-wide with users, management, information security, project management, and change management personnel.
