Systems Integrator / Technical Support

Dental Technology Consultants, based in Sherman Oaks, has been in business for over six years and was started by a former periodontist who practiced for 10 years. The company works with dentists and assists them in upgrading their technology systems. This primarily involves installing new servers, transferring data, installing workstations, software, networking, monitors, and remote access software. In almost all cases, these are single-location LAN installations.

Our company has grown very rapidly over the past year and we are looking to hire someone full time to help with installations and support for our clients. While the installations are relatively easy and support calls are typically handled over the phone, there are a few things that make this opportunity unique:We have clients all over North America, so some weekends would involve traveling to these locations. We have clients in Boston, Seattle, Florida, California, and all points in between. Your work week would include support calls and periodic office visits in the surrounding Southern California area. These are typically minor issues that can be solved with either phone support or remote access software. We need someone who has the basic skills and experience to setup small networks: Windows 2003 Server, XP, consumer-level routers, MS Office, etc. Most importantly, we need someone who is mature and has good people skills. You would work with health care professionals who appreciate being treated with respect.
