Systems Sales Trainee-Dallas, TX

Reynolds and Reynolds is the industry leader of automobile dealership IT solutions.  Our powerful systems run software designed by our programming department exclusively for the business side of automobile dealerships.  We are currently seeking applicants for an exciting System Sales Trainee position!

 

Requirements:

-  0-5 years of experience

-  Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

-  Must be a self-starter with ability to schedule time effectively

-  Strong influential skills/level of charisma for building long-term relationships with clients

-  Good organizational skills

-  Ability to learn both sales process and product and make applicable use of knowledge

-  Must be willing to relocate within the Regional Sales Director’s (RSD) territory

 

The Systems Sales Trainee’s role is to accomplish two things:

 

1. Training ground in the sales organization so that the associate can learn to sell.  Training program will be put in place by the RSD to ensure success.

 

2.  Assist the "Mentor" (i.e., senior Account Manager) in the assigned territory with the various stages of the sales process to achieve the designated sales quota.

 

The Systems Sales Trainee’s responsibilities are to take day-to-day direction from Mentor and RSD on sales activities that will drive revenue such as: Participating in the planning and implementation of market strategies and programsTeaming with the Mentor to achieve sales goals of a specific set of solutions through the sales cycleParticipate in solutions team business reviewsWorking with the Mentor on various Lead program execution tasksCompetitive intelligence gathering and helping to train sales associatesParticipation in customer prospecting events and trade and product showsBasic administrative duties as needed, including updates and maintenance of appropriate reporting/database systems.

 

Training:

6 months-2 years of on the job training with a mentor
