Systems Support Analyst- Financial Systems

Menasha Advantage is a division of Menasha Corporation, a multinational organization comprised of diverse manufacturing and service businesses.  Menasha Advantage provides information technology and transactional processing solutions to the enterprise as an internal Shared Service division.  We currently have an exciting career opportunity in our Enterprise Resource Planning Application Services department in Neenah, WI.

 

In this position you will work with Menasha Corporation’s business units to support, analyze and document business processes to improve them through testing, user acceptance, documentation, and training.  The initial focus will be to support the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial functionality.  This will include providing: a) support in resolving SAP application process issues and questions submitted by the end user community, b) support of system enhancement initiatives and expanding SAP system functionality, c) make recommendations in the use of system functionality to the user community, and d) application training to power user community.

 

Principal Accountabilities

Ÿ  Provide first line support services to clients to define business requirements in one or more SAP functional areas:

General Ledger, Profit Center Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Internal Orders and Product

Costing Modules.

Ÿ  Assist Lead and Senior Systems Analyst in the development, installation and maintenance of specific SAP functionality and processes across the enterprise.

Ÿ  Participate in all phases of the application development cycle including needs assessment, planning, testing, training and on-going support.

ŸDevelop process designs and specifications, including both ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ documentation.

ŸProvide effective solutions to business requirements using existing SAP applications.

ŸRecommend solutions for requirements that are not met by existing applications. (May be modifications, enhancements and/or new software).

ŸSupport existing SAP application interfaces and enhancements.

ŸIdentify and define effective process and procedural changes to maximize application utilization.

ŸParticipate in system testing and provide complete process documentation.

ŸAssist with client acceptance testing.

ŸAssist in preparation and delivery of client training.

ŸProvide implementation start up and post support.

ŸProvide documentation in all areas of work

ŸOther duties as required

 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Ÿ  College degree preferred in computer science or business administration with a computer science or accounting concentration, preferably with a minimum (2) two years related experience.

Ÿ  Two years performing application system support, business application implementation, business requirements support, and/or in a professional accounting position supporting an ERP application.

Ÿ  Experience in systems development (Traditional life cycle), systems analysis, business application implementation and support preferred.

Ÿ  Project Management experience including: developing a project plan and administering the plan.

 



Required Competencies

·  Advanced knowledge of ERP Manufacturing/Financial Business Software

·  Two years experience supporting, and maintaining ERP applications with preference in the following areas:

o  SAP / ERP Application support and management with one or more modules

o  Knowledge of data archiving methods and tools

o  Capable of data analysis (table views and queries)

o  In-depth knowledge in a specific business application area.
