TECHNICAL ARCHITECT

TECHNICAL ARCHITECT: 
 
Basic Requirements - The following requirements must be met to be a candidate for this project. 
 
Experience using Oracle Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and associated Oracle development & query tools; and other software support products such as performance testing software and CM software. 
 
Experience in all aspects of Oracle technologies supporting NIST implementation of Commerce Business System (CBS) and Portal. 
 
Certification in Oracle 10g AS administration 
 
Competency in the administration of Oracle Assets 
 
Competency in current web technologies 
 
Competency in Business Objects 
 
Experience in testing large systems and testing methodologies 
 
Experience in SW maintenance, change control and tools like Polytron Version Control System (PVCS) 
 
Specific requirements: 
 
3 years experience as a Technical Architect required 
 
· Possess a high level of technical and product knowledge 
 
· Have the ability to operate with minimal supervision across multiple project teams 
 
· Be responsible for producing an overall technical architecture including reviewing all technical designs and ensuring integration among all projects 
 
· Provide support to all of BSD and its customers (including OCIO) in regards to program/project activities and technology decisions 
 
· Work with BSD management in designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software 
 
· May also lead a large develop-ment team in the design of highly complex software systems 
 
· Provide the highest-level technical expertise in addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms to the team 
 
· Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
