TECHNICAL SUPPORT/HELP DESK ROLE

OBJECTIVE:

Provide customer service by efficiently and effectively resolving customer network and connectivity problems.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide technical support to customers on SSL VPN via telephone.

· Troubleshoot customer problems and working all issues to closure.

· Develop positive customer relationships.

·  

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· 2-5 years previous experience in technical support role.

· Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP, Network problems, VPN’s and web servers.

· Experience with Aventail software and load balancing preferred.

· High school diploma required.

 

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

· Strong customer relations, problems solving, organization and communication skills are required.

· Solid working knowledge of customer service techniques and procedures.

· Must have the ability to understand the basics of LAN, WAN and other related technologies.

· PC Desktop support skills a must
