Tech Ops 2nd shift

Mid-level Linux Consultant Customer Support 2nd shift Shift would be 3PM to 12AM Responsibility: Sub-manager two co-location Data Centers Operational activities in Data Centers taking direction for Data Center Managers Install Linux, Wintel and UNIX servers in racks Patch network cables from server to patch panel Rotate backup tapes from tape backup unit to offsite vendor Label racks, servers and patch panels Document inventory changes Job skills/requirements: Experience in Data Center Operational processes and procedures Experience in Change Management processes Must be very organized and self managed individual Must be an independent worker and show leadership 2-3 years experience Red Hat Enterprise Server 2-3 years experience in server hardware installs Good interpersonal and communication skills EMC SAN knowledge a plus IBM AIX and SUN Solaris knowledge a plus Networking knowledge a plus CIBER, Inc.
