Position Description:Analyze LSI and/or SAN related logsProvide Root Cause Analysis to LSI OEM customersWork with both Customer Support and development teams to investigate known and unknown issuesCreate, track, and report known and unknown defects using various LSI applicationsAct as technical resource for customer support teamEnsure technical information is communicated throughout customer support To Apply Visit LSI CorporationQualifications:Bachelors or equiv.3 or more years experience in a technical support environment.Excellent written and oral communication skills Attention to detail is a must. Must be able to communicate a technical situation to a non-technical audience during conference calls.Experience in a lab environment.Previous experience working with challenging customers in stressful situations. Must be proficient in MEL, RLS, and FC debugging.Must be proficient in Hex to Decimal conversion.Must be proficient in WINS (Siebel), Microsoft, AIX and Solaris Operating Systems, SANtricity and Microsoft Office applications. 3+ years experience with LSI supported RAID systems.3+ years experience troubleshooting SAN.Working experience with Premium Features is desired.Working experience with Oracle, MS Exchange, and other databases is a plus.
