Current Job Opportunity Summary:

Technical/Administrative Assistant is a new position in CSG’s Information Solutions Department combining a variety of administrative and technical responsibilities. This “many hats” position reports to the Director of IS and will work closely with Network Operations and Applications Development.  This position is located in Westborough.

Responsibilities include:

· Purchasing Administration — IS orders computer equipment for the entire company as well as managing the data and voice network. The Technical/Administrative Assistant will track orders, receipts, and invoices for purchased equipment as well as tracking invoices for services
against budget.

· Maintain Asset Tracking — The Technical/Administrative Assistant will use the asset tracking database to record detail about equipment such as assigned user, program, location, make and model, etc.

· Machine Preparation — The Technical/Administrative Assistant will support the PC Help Desk by configuring new and re-assigned computers for use. This is a variable, but well documented process for setting up user accounts and installing appropriate software.

· Monthly Closing — Preparation of monthly recharges, invoices, and accruals.

· Queue Administration – The AppDev group uses a queue for tracking and prioritizing work. As administrator, The Technical/Administrative Assistant will examine incoming requests against existing to avoid duplication, assessing requests for proper entry within the queue hierarchy, and ensuring that work statuses are up to date.

Requirements:

· Accuracy in performing detailed work

· Understanding of finance basics such as expense, capitalization, amortization, etc.

· Experience in using the CSG CoreApp OR a demonstrated ability to learn new software applications

· Ability to multi-task

· Ability to work independently and as a team member

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Not required, but a plus:

· Experience in finance related processes such as invoicing, accruals, budget tracking, and vendor invoice processing.

· Adept in MS Excel or a database product such as MS Access

 

Compensation and Benefits:
