Technical Advisor- Computer/Performance

Our Americas Corporate office, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is currently seeking a Technical Advisor -Computer/Performance. This position will have significant emphasis on capacity planning, systems performance monitoring, design and implementation of global systems strategies related to distributed systems environments and will be utilized as the top level technical escalation point for reviewing the work of other less experienced technical personnel. This role will provide technical solutions and expertise requiring in- depth knowledge of Distributed Systems and specific knowledge in related database and network systems, and will provide expertise in conducting project reviews to ensure systems conform to performance optimization, standards, requirements, and the systems lifecycle as defined. The successful applicant will have significant experience in the evaluation of software and hardware performance in distributed systems envronments. Experience with and demonstrated knowledge of technology, process, and strategies for optimization of application workloads and systems hardware/software are hightly valued qualiites in this role.

Salary Range: $100,000 - 115,000

 

 Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. 10+ years work experience in operating system architectures, harware infrastructure, databese systems, and storage technologies,  with demonstrated mastery of technical and business knowledge and understanding of multiple discipline/processes related to the position. Typically leads/mentors less experienced staff or complex projects in area of expertise.  Technical Skills and Knowledge – Demonstrated proficiency in the implementation, and maintenance of integrated systems across distributed platforms. Specific technical knowledge of computer languages (including database management systems), operating systems, terminology, communications, and hardware capabilities.
