Technical Advisor- Storage

Our Americas Corporate office, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is currently seeking a Technical Advisor -Storage. This position will have significant emphasis on capacity planning, systems performance monitoring, design and implementation of global systems strategies related to Storage in destrbuted systems environments and will be utilized as the top level technical escalation point for reviewing the work of other less experienced technical personnel. This role will provide technical solutions and expertise requiring in- depth knowledge of Distributed sysyems and related storage technologies, and will provide expertise in conducting project reviews to ensure systems conform to performance optimization, standards, requirements, and the systems lifecycle as defined. The successful applicant will have a history of successful tier 1 storage administration and be expected to provide leadership and educational guidance to other member of the storage team.

Salary Range: $100,000 - 115,000

 

 Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. 10+ years work experience in storage system architectures with demonstrated mastery of technical and business knowledge and understanding of multiple discipline/processes related to the position. Typically leads/mentors less experienced staff or complex projects in area of expertise.  Technical Skills and Knowledge – Demonstrated proficiency in the implementation, and maintenance of integrated systems across distribute systems hardware and software platforms. Specific technical knowledge storage technololgies, industry trends,terminology, communications, and hardware capabilities.
