Technical Architect - .NET

.NET Architect

Position Information:

Provides technical leadership to .NET and Sharepoint development teams.  Participates in project scope and proposal development.  Leads and mentors 3-5 developer/analysts to successful completion of a software project. Manages relationship with client sponsors.  This includes managing expectations, formally and informally communicating important details, and ultimately gaining the trust and respect of the project sponsor.  Understands industry leading methodologies and frameworks including MSF and Agile.  Keeps up with emerging technologies and advanced technical topics (such as design patterns and best practices). 

 

Required Experience:

· BS Degree plus 8-10 years of full life-cycle project development experience; including 4-5 years of consulting experience

· 4-5 years of experience with Microsoft web development technologies, including .NET

· 3+ years of requirements gathering and solution definition related to information management / information taxonomies for business and technology audiences

· 2+ years of experience architecting, designing and developing distributed systems including demonstrated experience with .Net Framework, SQL, C#, ASP.NET, Windows Forms, web services and XML

· Experience developing object-oriented applications

· Experience with implementation of complex logical database designs and relational database concepts

 

Additionally Desired Background:

· Experience with scope and proposal development

· Experience with BizTalk Server, Commerce Server, and Microsoft SQL Server

· 3+ years portal architecture, enterprise content management, and business intelligence experience.

· 2+ years Microsoft SharePoint experience, including WSS 3.0 and MOSS, web parts development, and workflow (business process design and automation).

· Relevant technical certification(s) (MCSE, MCSD, and MCDBA preferred)

This position is full time based in our office in Carmel, IN.  10-20% travel is anticipated, mostly within the state of Indiana and/or the Mid-West.
