Although not required, experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Java/J2EE HL7 XML SUN/SeeBeyond (e*Gate/JCAPS) Ideal candidates will have health delivery experience developing interfaces with a sound understanding of HL7 messaging standards as well as XML. Candidates should be conversant with both UNIX and Microsoft platforms and demonstrate proficient programming ability. Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: Java/J2EE, PL/SQL, .NET Framework, SOAP, WSDL, OOP, C/C++/C#, RUP, CMM and software development best practices. Candidates should have demonstrable analytical skills, including: SOA UML EAITravel is required. Resources located in Seattle, WA or the western U.S. are preferred.Essential Job Functions Technical: Support technical design activities related to application software, data, databases, packaged solutions, and infrastructure components. Technical: Design, develop, and distribute technical reusable components. Technical: Participate in the selection, acquisition, configuration, and troubleshooting of packaged solutions and technical infrastructure components. Methodology: Contribute to applying the Catalyst framework, in the role played, to determine the methodological steps that are appropriate for an engagement. Management: Lead a team of 3-5 CSC resources, in your area of expertise, to successful conclusion of a project phase. Business: Assist with gap analysis highlighting current state, future state, client needs, best practices and competition. Relationship Management: Establish credibility at all levels within the client and build problem-solving partnerships with the client and colleagues. Leverage: Understand the sales process, its information and support requirements, and assist business developers in identifying or qualifying leads. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Three or more years of experience in technical analysis and design Experience working with CSC Catalyst and/or equivalent client-mandated methodology Experience working with software, hardware, data and testing standards Experience working with delivery assurance principles and procedures Other Qualifications Strong analysis and design skills Good communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment Ability to devise creative technical solutions Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex technical problems Willingness to travel Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
