Technical Lead - EPA CGI Federal is looking for a Lead Lotus Notes developer who will be responsible for the development and operations and maintenance of a large number of Lotus Notes applications for the EPA Office of Research and Development. The person will lead a team of 2-3 people for this effort in our Lebanon, VA location. As lead, the person will communicate regularly with clients involving a variety of tasks such as systems analyses, systems requirements, issue resolution, and status reporting. They will work with clients to prioritize tasks and manage the team’s activities. As a certified Lotus Notes/Domino expert, the person will take charge of new application development following SDLC standards. They will perform database level administration on both client and web applications. Additionally, they will provide specialized support like migration and conversion tasks.Essential Skills:Lotus Notes Designer (ND6.5 or higher)LotusScript and Formula languageJavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSSLotus Enterprise Integrator and LCLSXDesign writing skillsNon-essential skills:Java and Oracle knowledge is a plusCertification is a plusLotus Notes Administrator is a plusThe EPA account group is a 30 person account that delivers a number of different projects to a variety of different EPA organizations. Each of the projects involve different technologies (i.e., portal, content management, help desk, document management) and different subject matter expertise which include but not limited to:Environmental Science Connector – Research tool that allows EPA and external researchers to collaborate and work on scientific projects. READ – EPA’s IT system inventory application. This tools stores metadata on all of EPA’s major and minor IT systems and delivers this information to EPA’s Investment Planning, Enterprise Architecture, and Security SystemsORD@Work – The project involves redesign of EPA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD) intranet set from an organizational based site to a services oriented site.Integrated Service Staff (ISS) Portal – The project involves setting up a intranet site for ORD employees to request and track IT and Administrative service requests. Security Support – Provide support, working in conjunction with the Security Service line, in preparing security plans, risk assessments, continuity of operations and disaster recovery plans. Research Optimization Initiative (ROI) – Redesign of EPA ORD’s administrative and research business functions to identify opportunities for efficiency and consolidation.
