Technical Recruiter

TransQuest Federal Systems provides systems and technology expertise to US Government clients worldwide. Washington Technology Magazine recently listed us as one of the fastest growing small businesses operating in the DC region.  Our success and growth has placed new challenges and opportunities before us. As a result, we need help from a new Technical Recruiter who will of help take us to the next level in our successful journey together. This position is located in our Columbia, MD offices.

 

Recruiters hold a special place at TransQuest. We were founded as a technical recruiting firm back in’93. Our founder and many of our senior management, came-up through the recruiting ranks. We know how hard it is to be a good recruiter and appreciate those that are!


Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Staffing our current programs within the DoD and Intelligence Communities. These programs are abundant, so we have lots of work for you! You’ll need to have good collaborative and multi-tasking abilities.

* Participating in pre-award capture activities, which require excellent resume sourcing and screening skills. Also you’ll need a good understanding of current market salaries for specific positions.

* Attending job fairs, trade shows and industry recruitment events.

* Anything else that you would like to do that will help us succeed!  We like new ideas and personal initiative!

 

Primary Requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Minimum 3-5 years experience recruiting within DC Metro Area
* Proven track record of placing candidates within the DoD and IC

* Knowledge of required security clearances within specified Government Agencies
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Strong Internet/PC skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel)
* Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems

The ideal candidate’s will possess all of the skills described above and will also be a positive, conscientious and motivated person by nature. Will be able to solve problems with a high degree of self-confidence. Can be counted on to offer insightful and well thought-out input. Their recruiting expertise will span the Department of Defense, Intelligence Sector and/or other Government Agencies.
