Technical Specialist - Novell IDM
Job DescriptionHighly motivated individual will provide technical expertise within the area of identity management and data security systems. This individual will participate in a highly collaborative and diverse environment working closely with Business Units throughout company.
· Design and implement the directory services components of complex identity based systems in the areas of identity management, IAM, directory services, security and provisioning.
· Work with a team to resolve issues and manage problems occurring throughout a full solution implementation lifecycle.
· Maintain in-depth technical expertise in the areas of identity & access management (IAM), directory services, security and provisioning technology, industry trends, and competitive offering’s feature/functions.
Experience and Skills Requirement:
· 6+ years IT experience with demonstrated experience with systems design, architecture and installation in a variety of environments.
· Strong analytical & problem solving
· Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills - ability to communicate information of a complex nature to all levels of the organization (written and verbal)
· Experience with application full life cycles – Requirements to deployment and support
· Be a subject-matter expert and mentor team members
· Quickly understand and implement emerging technologies
· Ability to self-motivate and work in a dynamic environment
· Ability to trouble-shoot issues and problem determination
· Understanding and good working knowledge of information security technologies such as encryption, VPN, Smart Cards, remote access control and authentication
· Demonstrate full understanding of the Identity Management project life-cycle and change process, independently plan, coordinate and manage multiple tasks, assignments and resources with minimal supervision. Also, excel in effective and accurate communication of project status on a continual basis to all project team members.
Technical environment is composed of, but not limited to:
· Operating Systems Linux SLES, Windows VMware
· LDAP directories (SUN One, Active Directory, Novell eDirectory)
· Novell technologies including eDirectory, Enterprise Identity Manager 3.5 (dirXML), iChain, Access Manager
· Identity driven technologies/products like dirXML, NSure Audit, SiteMinder, Single Sign On etc. Experience with Novell technologies including SUSE, Mono, eDirectory, Identity Manager 3.5 (dirXML), iChain/Access Manager. LINUX (SUSE), Sun One, AD, Novell E-Directory, or LDAP. Directory Schema management, Tomcat, JBoss or Lotus Notes.
