Technical Support

Pomeroy It Solutions is seeking a Technical Support Analyst.  This will be a direct hire with our client in Middletown, PA. This is 50% phone support and 50% hands on/deskside support.



Responsibilities/Tasks: 

 

· IT Service Desk support

· Field incoming calls for IT Department

· Responsible for opening, routing and resolving incidents using Altiris Helpdesk software

· Reviewing calls for posting into Altiris knowledgebase

· Hardware/Software Troubleshooting

· Support of IT Tools and software

· Blackberry/Mobile phone support

· New User setups for Notes, AD, avenue and Business Objects

· Perform PC and printer maintenance

· Maintain IT Assets inventory

· Operations Department documentation

 

 

Qualifications:

· AS Degree Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent experience

· Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003/XP Server/Workstation

· Knowledge of Lotus Notes 6.X+

· Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of software products

· Ability to maintain detailed records

· Ability to provide concise, detailed procedural documentation

· Ability to communicate and work with others effectively

· Prior experience with Help Desk software system

· Prior experience with Altiris CMS a plus
