Technical Support Engineer
SACA Technologies, LLC headquartered in Anaheim Hills, CA, is a leading provider of computer technical support services. We provide business class remote & onsite computer repair services, networking and security services, fully managed IT services, web development and much more to offices nationwide. We service small to mid-sized companies with up to 500 users. Our clients range from physician offices, law firms, retail centers, manufacturing and financial institutions with multi-user, multi-site networks.
Technical Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Provide front line (1st & 2nd level) technical support via phone/remote and/or on-site.
- Proprietary Backup Software Installation and Support
- MS Windows Server Environment Management and Support
- Report to Technical Support Manager to coordinate efforts
- Prioritize customer service and support
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years hands on experience in providing second (2nd) level onsite and remote computer support, including technical training.
- Must have extensive knowledge and experience in Windows 2003 Server, MS Exchange, MS SQL.
- Must be able to troubleshoot MS Windows / Server and network problems including but not limited to LAN, VLAN, Managed Switches, TCP/IP Protocol, DNS, DHCP, Firewall Configuration, VPN configuration.
- Extensive experience in LAN and WAN configuration including experience in hardware provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of workstations and servers.
- Extensive experience troubleshooting network server and workstation software applications.
- Knowledge and training in Microsoft operating systems and software including 2000/2003/XP/Vista, MS Office 2000/2003 Suites, Anti-virus Solutions
- Experience with RAID technologies 0/1/5/10 is a MUST
- Have a great attitude and strong desire to help people.
- Able to communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be very patient and able to deal with difficult customer situations!
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with Cisco equipment a plus.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a degree program in a technical discipline
- In depth understanding of Windows Network Environment
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills and problem solving abilities
- Must have prior networking knowledge and certifications
- Must have 3 years work experience
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and requests
