Technical Support Representative 2 - HELP DESK

Position Summary: 

Position supports all customer telephone calls for assistance or troubleshooting, product or application related matters.  This position is on the Technical Support 24x 7 Center with high visibility to our customers and internal staff.  This position serves as a first line of resource for other team members and provides direct mentoring to trainees.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

   

Associate’s degree in computer science, MIS or related fields, from an accredited college or university, is preferred, or

Equivalent degree from technical schools; or

2 yr related experience with general high school education is acceptable.

Basic knowledge and understanding of the payment processing industry

Basic mathematical skills (add, subject, multiply, divide)

Customer service practices/procedures

Use of manuals/materials in the reasoning process a must.

Type accurately 45 words per min

Excellent telephone/communication skills

   

Certification or 2 years job related experience in the following:

· Windows 2000, XP and VISTA operating systems,

· Basic Windows Networking

· XML (REQUIRED)SQL (REQUIRED) 

Strong knowledge or experience of the following:  .NET basic training and experience / would prefer certification but will accept working knowledge and experienceGeneral knowledge of FTP programsGeneral knowledge of how to navigate Software Directories and File Relationships General knowledge of standard office equipment.Related software applications.
