Manages and performs analysis, specification, design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of healthcare information technology applications and equipment. Functions in a project management role and will assist in administrative responsibilities and strategic planning. Will act a liaison between outreach program and other hospital or contracted Information Technology areas.

Key Responsibilities High level autonomy, able to establish goals and procedures for area of responsibility Analyze, design, implement, evaluate and maintain systems based upon end-user needs Performs needs assessments, encompassing analysis of systems and potential enterprise-wide requirements Remains current on healthcare practices, polices and information technology trends Assist management with administrative responsibilities and strategic planning Manages project implementations, client installations, acceptance testing, system education and maintenance Perform client equipment and application installations Support client and users, including troubleshooting, repairs and replacement Develop and assist with client training and support Coordinate and work with client practice management system and EMR companies in order to help build demographic and insurance data bridges, HL-7 results downloads and interfacesRequired SkillsExperience with Cerner Millennium product Experience with Cerner PathNet a plus Experience with Lab a plus Understanding of basic Relational Database Principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Good technical aptitude, attention to detail and analytical skills Good Communication skills Effective Interpersonal skills Must posses the ability to work with the I.S. support team Willingness to advance skill set with other applications Required ExperienceBachelors degree in computer related field Minimum of three years experience in a business or healthcare role.Job LocationRochester, MI, US.Position TypeFull-Time/Regular
