 The Company is looking for an Accounting Assistant, reporting to the Controller. The candidate must be a leader, have experience in managing small and large groups, be detail oriented, have strong organization and communication skills, and be very hands-on. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of the Telava Networks Group as the Company continues to expand its services and portfolios nationally and globally. Our San Francisco office is located in the heart of the Financial District, a couple blocks from the Embarcadero BART station.Job RequirementsAccounting Responsibilities:•  AR: produce invoices, process and apply payments, collections•  AP: process vendor invoices for payment•  Maintain accurate filing system•  Maintenance of accurate and updated vendor records•  Cash flow planning•  A strong understanding of accounting concepts•  Excellent mathematical and organizational skills•  A professional attitude and appearance•  Dependability and punctuality•  Common sense and good judgment•  A willingness to talk to current/potential clients/vendors•  Assistance with preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end financials•  Additional related accounting and clerical responsibilitiesGeneral Office Responsibilities:•  Provide support duties to the organization as needed•  Assistance with special projectsEssential Skills/Characteristics:•  An attention to detail with high degree of accuracy•  Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines•  A proficiency in Microsoft Office•  Strong experience using QuickBooks•  Excellent oral and written communication skills•  A willingness to learn new tasks•  Maintain confidentiality in all communications and job dutiesOther Requirements:•  Undergraduate degree in Accounting/ Business Administration or equivalent•  The work is international in scope and requires experience dealing in foreign currencies•  Must be detail oriented and organizedLocation: San Francisco Financial District, CADuration: Full-TimeCompensation: Salary based on Experience & Performance BonusesBenefits: We offer an excellent benefits package.
