Telecommunications Administrator

“As part of our strategic growth, Amdocs is currently seeking a Telecommunications Administrator located in St. Louis/Chesterfield.”Telecom Administrator with enterprise level of experience to support users using Nortel Meridian PBXResponsibilities: Administrator responsible for activities related to voice communications function Job responsibilities include doing moves, adds and changes to the Nortel Meridian PBX and CallPilot voicemail systems in a multiple site environment, as well as providing support of telecommunications systems and projects. Works on complex tasks and ensures project, schedules, and performance requirements are met. Interacts with outside customers and vendors and functional peer groups on a daily basis Lead projects for the North American teams as needed Requirements: Required Skills Nortel Meridian systems design and architecture experience Strong understanding and familiarity of the telecom market in USA both technical and commercial aspects Experience with Nortel PBX Hardware and Software configuration on Options 11, 61, 81 & Succession is Required Experience with Call Pilot Meridian mail Required Fundamental knowledge of IP Networking Required Experience with Windows Operating Systems Required Experience working with Cisco switched and routers is an advantage, but not required. Proficient in MDF and IDF wiring, and has a full understanding of internal communications cable infrastructures. Travel May require approximately 2 to 4 travels per year in North America Job requires carrying cell phone and being available to support major events 24x7
