Telecommunications Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:
Manage the LCR table with development, DID inventory levels and make initial contact with new carriers in order to increase our foot print globally and work on special projects. Work closely with Finance in obtaining carrier cost financials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Carrier Relations/Specialist:
• Coordinates with Development and maintain the LCR
• Research and make initial contact with new telco carriers for new coverage areas
• Maintain carrier POP addresses and circuit information
• Send carrier contacts, partner solutions documentation, and support instructions to NOC
• Communicate with the team by maintaining Carrier Relations intranet page, Partner Portal and Enterprise Customer Inbound Acquisitions Page
• Ensure all carrier bills are gathered and reviewed with the carriers prior to sign-off
• Create ad-hoc reports on weekly and monthly intervals; such as Circuit Utilization Reports

Inventory Management:
• Manage inbound DID inventory: regularly review DID inventory against actual usage and forecasts to ensure the company is neither deficient nor over-supplied
• Ensure DID inventory is up-to-date using any/all tools available, including Inbound Admin or Net Manage
• Coordinate testing of numbers and partner solutions with QA
• Update all master inbound records (in Inbound Master by Trunk Group” spreadsheet or similar tool)
• Manage the porting of local and toll free process from start to finish
• Maintain porting records (in “Fax Number Ports”) spreadsheet or similar tool in a central Location on intranet

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS degree
• Previous LCR - Low Cost Routing experience
• Previous Telco experience
• Previous project management experience
• Previous operations experience
• Financial Analyst Skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and SQL
• Outstanding analytical skills; detail oriented
• Highly organized
• Results oriented; take charge and get it done mentality


DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Knowledge of telecom industry and/or carrier processes
• Financial analysis experience a plus
