We are currently looking for the best talent available for a Telecommunications Manager with a proven track record in technology based solutions for an international corporation.  This Position requires both strong technical and project management skills and is located at our office in New Britain, CT.

 

Purpose:

To design, test, implement, enhance and support enterprise Voice infrastructure throughout Stanley facilities. Provide leading edge call center recommendations and support. Negotiate and maintain all telecom contracts and vendor SLA’s.  Manage and coordinate all telecom provisioning and provide for DR and BC options. Participate in all faculty MAC’s. Assess and recommend new technologies

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

·  Participate in meetings with user(s) to determine requirements and scope.

·  Assist in the creation of functional design deliverables.

·  Create and /or review detailed and technical design deliverables.

·  Facilitate and participate in technology activities as they relate to the telecom Infrastructure.

·  Conduct new technology/service offerings testing in the Lab.

·  Implement/Support Enterprise wide Voice Applications including user training

·  Participate in and coordinate level-3 on-call support activities.

·  Identify and correct Voice Infrastructure problems.

·  Provide leadership and manage department budget.

·  Establish and monitor Stanley and vendor KPI and resolve system performance issues

·  Assist call center managers from all divisions.

·  Participate in generation of Operational documentation.

·  Assist Technical Service Director in the development of training plans for analysts.

·  Mentor/coach Analysts in detailed and technology design activities for career  development.

·  Report to Director weekly on status of development/maintenance projects

 

Authority:

 

·  Decision making as it applies to functional and detailed Infrastructure design and Enterprise applications.

·  Take necessary action to correct emergency situations.

 

Qualifications/Skills:

 

·  4 year degree in Information Systems or Engineering

·  8 plus years experience in Information/Telecommunication Systems; minimum of 2 years of enterprise project design and management activities.

·  International experience

·  Proven contract negotiation and vendor management skills.

·  Strong written and oral communication skills

·  Working knowledge of call center hardware and software applications, VOIP a plus

·  Proven knowledge/experience of managing/coordinating activities in foreign countries.
