We are currently looking for the best talent available for a Telecommunications Technical Architect VoIP with a proven track record. This Position is responsible for the design, delivery and support management of Advanced Telecommunication Services (VoIP) on a global scale and is located at our office in North Andover, MA.
Major Responsibilities:
· Provides telecommunications design, performance engineering and architectural deployment management for large scale voice solutions.
· Performs technical deployment leadership, solution audits, analysis and diagnosis of complex voice and contact center solutions.
· Working with providers, builds simulated solutions in test labs to resolve complex problems and compatibility issues.
· Generates and documents reusable intellectual capital in the form of standard customer deployment architectures.
· Leverages and contributes to virtual teams.
· Assists business unit owners with advanced services requests and related IPT network management applications.
· Provides backup and tier 3 technical support services.
· Telecommunication vendor and carrier contract negotiation and management
· Disaster recover and business continuity planning and design
· Leverage and generate applicable technical "best practices" design guides.

Required Technical Skills:
Cisco IPT / IPCC Enterprise & Express, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, CME, CAD, CTIOS, Windows 2000, SQL, SRST, E-911, H323, MGCP, SIP, QOS, Cisco ICM, Cisco ISN, Wireless, fiber (Veroxity a plus). Wide range of knowledge on multiple TDM based PBX / ACD platforms.
Proven expertise integrating, configuring and supporting all the components that make up an IP Voice Contact Center solution including the infrastructure, call processing systems, and the client interface components. Vendor management of advanced voice systems installation, configuration, customization and troubleshooting of complex Contact Center solutions.
Education & Experience:
· College degree, preferably a B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering.
· Five years direct responsibility and vendor supervision of large scale telecommunications systems
· Seven years hands on experience with TDM and VoIP telecommunications systems.
· Strong experience in telecommunications contracts, billing, vendor management and maintenance required.
· Experience in a large, complex organization or corporate structure environment preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
