Telecommunications/Voice Analyst and Helpdesk Support

The Telecommunications/Voice Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of the communications systems for over 500 employees locally by maintaining and supporting the telephone switch, call management and voicemail systems. The Analyst assists our Helpdesk in providing phone, email, and/or in-person support for computer installations, upgrades, modification, and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems/malfunctions.

Our Voice Analyst and Helpdesk staff receives a manageable number of assignments because we know great work and customer service take a bit more time. This person will normally work Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and must be available to work outside the normal hours of operation, on-call 24 hours per day, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications and General Requirements include:Experience in maintaining and supporting telephone switches, call management and voicemail systemsProficiency working with IBM OS/2, Windows NT/2000/XP, and other operating systemsHelpdesk or related IT experience providing phone, email, and/or in-person support for computer installations, upgrades, modification, and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems/malfunctionsAn AA/AS degree in telecommunications or computer related field plus four years relevant experience; a BA/BS degree in computer science or related discipline plus two years relevant experience; or the combination of education, certifications, and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the positionComputer certification preferred in one or more of the following areas: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or other related certifications/designations
