Testing Engineer (Defect Manager)

We are looking for highly motivated individual looking to expand their horizons. This individual is expected to get a deep understanding of the scope of the release and the impacts across all Amdocs and non Amdocs application and network systems. The individual will be given access to all release documentation, to the business teams, and any other resource necessary to gather the knowledge needed to make impact assessments on the flow through test scenarios and detailed test cases. There is an expectation that you understand the testing tool Quality Center and Calendar application. There will direct interfacing with the customer so strong English skills are required.-  Work with client and Amdocs teams to deliver testing solutions.-  Deliver timely and quality services, ensuring client satisfaction.-  Be part of a global team of testing engineers, participate and contribute in internal design review of testing materials.-  Participate in Lightspeed UR&D session for upcoming releases-  Collaborate with AT&T teams on the creation of the master scenario document-  Collaborate with AT&T teams on testing calendars-  Provide expertise on Lightspeed applications, architecture and functionality  Must haves: In-depth knowledge of at least one Amdocs product (Ensemble, OMS, Enabler AMSS, TLG, or Clarify CRM, Invoicing) Overall knowledge of the Lightspeed architecture including non Amdocs applications and network provisioning process Self motivated and able to work independently with limited direction Strong analytical skills Excellent communication skills and fluent in English Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate clients and employees, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently Must be flexible to travelNice to haves 2-3 years demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of testing solutions or Telecom Billing and CRM solutions One of the following academic backgrounds: B.A. in Computer Science Engineer B.A. in any exact Science (with the following certification: ISEB
