Position Summary 

Cape Fox Professional Services (CFPS) Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Center of Excellence (CoE), Crystal City, VA is in need of a Digital Signage (DS) Director to head its state of the art DS system within the SOA CoE. The director will be responsible for end-to-end content and messages displayed on electronic screen, or digital sign that can be changed without modification to the physical sign, typically with the goal of delivering targeted messages to specific locations at specific times. Digital signage director will offer superior return on investment for CFPS clients compared to traditional printed signs. Digital signs will be maintained by scrolling message boards, LCD or plasma display panels, electronic billboards, projection screens, or other emerging display types like living surfaces or Organic LED screens (OLEDs) that can be controlled electronically using a computer or other devices, allowing individuals or groups to remotely change and control their content (usually via the Internet).

 

Computer Skills: 

 

FTP, Windows OS, IP Control Systems, Automated Digitizing, Linux 05 Shell, Various Distant learning and digital signage systems, IPSee.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Audio mixing, monitor mixing, and audio recording Creation and management of text to be projected Design and preparation of videos to be used to enhance products and messages Lighting production for special events Basic stage management during  special events Providing audio/visual services for all operating companies and potential clients Oversee and manage technical/audio staff Develop new business and new customers for the Life Safety Management System Assist current leads in implementing digital signage and Life Safety Systems through presentations and information processing

 

Skills in digital signage included requirements for SCALA or Visual Circuits systems that combine computer graphics signals with pre-produced video clips and other audio visual graphics and messages as required.
