Tibco Administrator

AGSI is seeking a Tibco Administrator that will be responsible for the installation, technical administration, tuning monitoring and upgrading of the Tibco environments in a Enterprise level architecture

 

Tibco Administrator

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Ø  Overall Administration of Tibco for a Project (Retail applications), including installation, technical administration, tuning monitoring and upgrading of the Tibco environments

Ø  Management and Enhancements of Tibco infrastructure using 6.x technologies for the following environments – Development, Quality Assurance, Training. 

Ø  Provide backup support for Production administrators.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

Ø  Definition, planning and execution of all infrastructure activities required to support the enterprise architecture

Ø  Participation in Disaster Recovery implementation and testing.

 

Qualifications: 

Ø  Bachelors Degree or equivalent technical training.

Ø  Working knowledge of and at least 3 years first-hand experience with Tibco Business Works and EMS,  HTTP web servers (preferable Apache), and background and familiarity with AIX or Linux systems and commands.

Ø  Experience in providing a solid background of clustering and load balancing concepts as applied to web applications and Tibco services.

Ø  Exposure to both IBM Websphere Network Deployment and Single Instance platforms is a plus.

Ø  Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as a member of a larger, integrated team.

Ø  Ability to work with business users, consultants, and application developers to gather requirements, convey architectural standards, and drive issues to resolution.

Ø  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
