Works with line and business unit managers to assess, identify and provide solutions for learning in area of expertise. Reviews performance data and measurements of current training resources and programs to evaluate program performance. Reports and recommends to management, modifications to, elimination of and/or need for the development of new programs. Assesses job roles and related competencies and skills, determines and sequences learning architectures/assets that contribute to personnel development and assist in developing a strategy timeline for employee development. Identifies vendor solutions for training. Maintains relationships with vendors. Reviews external training programs to determine feasibility and applicability and recommends purchase. Applies knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory to the design and delivery methods of new learning programs. Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; bachelor's degreein human resources development, business administration, instructional design or related field preferred Six or more years of experience in training, education, or instructional design Experience working with instructional design and adult learning and training methodologies Experience working with current technology and multimedia to develop and apply to training programs Preferred Qualifications: Operational experience in a tactical aviation unitSystems Approach to Training (SAT) Course Instructor pilot experienceFixed-wing Army AviatorexperienceExcellent computer skills, with an emphasis on MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:Secret Create Success
