Location: Chicago, IL Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Reference Code: CHI99416 Job Description:Technisource is looking for strong VMWare consultants and/or senior consultants located in the Midwest and Eastern states to join our client's deployment team on a contract to hire basis. One year of previous consulting firm experience is required to be considered for these roles.Responsibilities:·Assess, design, plan, and implement complex virtualization (VMware) implementations and migrations for enterprise environments (hundreds to thousands of servers). ·Ancillary skills in migration tools and related technologies. ·Directly interact with clients, account managers and solution architects to identify, develop, and obtain complete information for solutions.·Mentor associate consultants and serve as escalation point for their technical related project issues ·Contribute and develop best practices, strategies, methodologies and documentation/templates suitable for use by other consultants and associate consultants ·Achieve high level of Customer Satisfaction on all consulting engagements by executing to achieve client project expectations set by technical leads and project managers and develop strong customer relationships and trust to secure future business ·Shadow Senior/Master Consultants  Required Skills:Demonstrable experience designing, planning, and implementing VMware solutions for customers. ·1 year consulting experience for a consulting firm, value added reseller, managed services provider or other firm providing technology solutions to end user organizations·In depth system engineering experience involving server and storage technologies and services solutions at an enterprise level for IT solutions. ·Demonstrable experience troubleshooting complex and large scale virtualized computing environments.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: VMware VCP is highly preferredMicrosoft MCSE desiredCitrix CCA or CCEA a plusSKILL REQUIREMENTS ·Strong verbal and written communication skills. ·Strong time management and organizational skills. ·Ability to acquire technical skills and problem solve. ·Ability to work as a team player in a consulting environment. ·Ability to travel up to 50%-60% nationwide. ·Ability to work with wide variety of client staff including management and technical staff. ·Resourceful working with disparate client and internal departments to deliver meaningful solutions. ·Demonstrated consulting expertise in mid sized and Fortune 1000 customer environments ·Demonstrated ability to implement and troubleshoot HW and SW systems and configurations without procedural guidance. ·Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships and trust to secure future business. ·Demonstrated ability to achieve high level of Customer Satisfaction on all consulting engagements Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
