VXML/IVR Developer

We have an excellent 6 month contract for hire position available with a direct client located in Kansas City. Our client would like to have a strong VXML/IVR Developer join their team as soon as possible.


Responsibilities:

The right candidate will support and enhance already designed Cisco ICM Scripts, CVP applications, and backend transaction; as well as, design new IVR solutions.

The candidate will work in a high volume CISCO ICM/CVP (Intelligent Contact Management/ Customer Voice Portal) environment. Strong knowledge of call center technologies (including Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Call Routing), J2EE and .NET Web Applications (WebServices, Dynamic VoiceXML (VXML), Servlets and .NET Code Behind Page Event Model), IVR Development, and System Architecture. Person will work autonomously, without much direction and will own projects. Must be pro-active, strong communication skills, and organized.

Skills:

*2+ Years VXML Development ** Development and Support of VXML IVR applications

*Cisco CVP Experience preferred not required (very nice to have).

*Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) Scripting and Routing ** Experience using Genesys and/or Cisco CTI Frameworks

*Development using Audium Studio (now CVP Studio) to create IVR call flows in a Cisco CVP environment

*Java J2EE Development ** Servlet, JSP and Tomcat knowledge

*C# ASP.NET Development ** Expert Knowledge of .NET

*IVR Development ** IVR Development (Periphonics, Edify, CONVERSANT, DirectTalk, TellMe, Voice Genie, GVP, Telera, BeVocal, etc)

*HTTP Protocol Knowledge ** High Level Knowledge Of Web Protocols

*ICM Script Editor ** Development of ICM Scripts

*XML Development ** Xpath, MSXML, XALAN, Xerces, XSLT, JAXP, .NET System XML, XML Schemas, etc

*Unix Scripting ** Experience using Unix Command line Utilities to Parse Log Files (Sed, Grep, Awk, Diff, Tail, Head, etc)

*System Architecture Experience ** Experience working in a multi-tier high volume production environment
