Veritas Cluster Server/Stor. Foundation w/ Windows

Veritas Cluster Server/Storage Foundation SMEWe are currently in search of a Veritas Cluster Server Consultant who will be responsibilities for the design, architecture and implementation of Storage Foundation and Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) for Windows, including, but not limited to the following tasks:* Assist customer with the architecture, design and implementation of Storage Foundation and VCS within the client infrastructure.* Assist Customer in the testing and rollout of scheduled Storage Foundation product updates and patches.* Handle Storage Foundation support issues, coordinate communications between client, operations staff, customer support staff to resolve complex issues and to assist in escalating issues.* Through discussions and demonstration, provide periodic informal on-site knowledge transfer, as needed to customer.Consultant will provide formal weekly status report to Customer outlining:** Program Status/Progress for Storage Foundation program activities and tasks** Action items and Next steps relative to Storage Foundation program activities** Assist Customer with on-going architecture updates for diagrams, configuration guides, and supporting documentation for the Storage Foundation and VCS environment when necessary.REQUIRMENTS:Windows is the Operating System for the job so that is a key skillCertifications: Veritas Certified Specialist or Veritas Certified Professional; Veritas certification in Storage.Advanced SME in BOTH Veritas Cluster Server or Storage Foundation (versions 4.0 or 5.0)Knowledge of Symantec or Veritas products strictly around VCS, SF, SFHA, and SFCFSPrevious design and implementation in Veritas Cluster Server and Storage FoundationExperience working with the full suite of Storage Foundation products on large installations.Previous experience designing and builing from scratch, a large multi-node cluster using Veritas Cluster ServerThis position is a 1 year contract in located in Quincy, MA.
