Veritas Cluster Server/Storage Foundation Specialist

We are seeking a Veritas Cluster Server / Storage Foundation Specialist for our Professional Services team.  Candidates applying for this position must have the skills and professionalism necessary to handle complex implementation projects, perform root cause analysis of existing environmental problems, and provide architecture and design recommendations based upon industry experience and best practices.  Additional job responsibilities will include providing technical leadership to peers, pre-sales scope determination and guidance, and technology leadership within the practice.  A successful candidate will also have strong documentation and presentation skills.

 

 

Required:

 

Experience with the following products on both Windows and Unix Platforms:

* Veritas Storage Foundation

* Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM)

* Veritas File System (VxFS)

* Veritas Volume Replicator (VVR)

* Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) v. 5.x

 

 

Nice to Have: 

 

Experience with the following products is a plus:

* CFS (Clustered File System)

* Storage Replicator

* Storage Migrator

* Microsoft Cluster Services (MSCS)

* Any other Symantec/Veritas products

 

Experience with clustering the following applications is also a plus:

* Oracle 10g / Oracle 10g RAC

* Microsoft Exchange

* Microsoft SQL Server
