Vibration Technician

LOCATION: CA, TX, AZ (multiple open positions)



Vibration Technician

This individual will work in our Dynamics department performing the various tests associated with that department. The job will require the individual to work in a physically demanding job, mounting test fixtures to the shaker tables, setting up hydraulic and electric support gear and programming the vibration tables to perform the required test. Some of the tests the candidate will be performing are; sine and random vibration, shock tests of various natures, centrifuge testing and many more. It is important that the candidate be flexible with OT as the job will require at least 1 additional 4:30pm to 8pm shift on top of the Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm schedule.



Responsibilities

Review test procedures to determine what each test requires.



Setting up tests on our shakers tables including data acquisition systems, hydraulic, pneumatic and other various support equipment.



Programming the shakers to perform the require test and documenting the test with log sheets and reports.



Clean the lab on a daily basis, organizing tools, fixtures and general maintenance of our equipment





Preferences

Associates degree in either electrical or mechanical engineering



Experience working in a machine shop



Knowledge of electronics such as relays, scopes and signal conditioners



Hands on mechanical experience in automotive or hydraulic settings



Desire to work overtime
