Vice President of Information Services
Excellent opportunity for a Vice President of Services in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah. The right person for this job must have the following : · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. · Knowledge of computer, and telecommunication equipment. · Understanding of contact center operations and information needs. · Advanced analytical/technical knowledge pertaining to decision analysis and financial/budget administration. Five years experience in information services and operations, preferably in a contact center. Supervisory experience required. Telecom experience helpful. The candidate should also possess the following skills: · Good interpersonal and supervisory skills. · Solid project management skills. · Well organized and attentive to detail.· Creative and self-motivated. · Technical and advanced analytical, financial, and budgeting skills. Responsibilities include:Assumes responsibility for the development and implementation of effective information services planning and strategies.Assists the CEO with long and short run Information Services planning. Develops a total strategy and direction for the Organization's electronic processing functions. Executes established goals and ensures that corporate-wide goals are complemented and supported. Develops and implements operational plans, policies and goals which further strategic objectives. Continually evaluates established policies and procedures and updates or modifies them as necessary. Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of information services' functions. Ensures the implementation of cost effective and efficient systems and computer operations designed to meet current and future information needs. Manages, directs, oversees, and ensures the efficiency of Computer Operations, Telecommunications, Information Systems, LAN/WAN Networks, and PC systems. Ensures that equipment, peripheral devices, and software are set up and operated in accordance with prescribed instructions. Researches and recommends equipment, software, and system updates.Provides leadership to personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts staff meetings as required. Directs, schedules, and coordinates Department functions. Ensures that personnel are well-trained, effective, and optimally used. Instructs personnel regularly regarding policy, procedure, and program changes.Conducts performance appraisals as required. Formulates and implements corrective actions as needed.Assumes responsibility for ensuring that professional business relations are established and maintained with members, vendors, trade professionals, etc. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Organization personnel and with management. Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and controlling all of the organization's electronic functions, including systems and programming, computer operations, phone operations, and related vendor relationships. Establishes, implements, and administers IS divisional policies and procedures. Acts as senior manager over all hardware, software, and equipment purchases and maintenance. Responsible for future technological innovations and the development and implementation of the Organization's IS strategic plan. Responsible for disaster recovery planning and mitigation strategies.
