Vice President of Network Operations and Engineering

 

Position Description:

The Vice President of Network Operations and Engineering is responsible for the implementation, operations, maintenance, and support of the InterMetro Communications network. This person will provide daily direction to the engineering and NOC teams. The Vice President will work closely with the other departments throughout the company.

 

Responsibilities:Responsible for executive management of personnel and organizational structure. Responsible for all internal systems strategy related to networking, implementation of that strategy, and support systems.Responsible for IP and softswitches.  Responsible for integration and implementation of new carrier networks and services. Responsible for network reporting and metrics while providing responsive and scalable customer support. Responsible for being part of the executive team and supporting corporate goals.

Requirements:10+ years of experience in network operations.Clear understanding of telecommunications.  Experience in implementing network infrastructure and support systems. Experience in managing complex maintenance and monitoring systems. Reputation for effective leadership and building strong teams.
