Web Architect

As part of our strategic growth, Amdocs is currently seeking a Web Architect located in Overland Park, KS.Experienced lead architect with strong web systems background, a person who can interact with Director and VP levels of a telecommunications customer, and can take responsibility for design and architecture of large, complex systems while leading a team of architects and engineers.Responsibilities:· Responsible for overall architecture of a full web based portal project· Web Business Knowledge · Implement and define methodologies working in Web environment.· Work closely with other groups in this project· Must have a client focused business understanding along with the ability to determine client’s current and future needs and Amdocs offering in web areaRequirements:· Minimum of 5 years of professional experience· Excellent oral and written communication skills  · Development experience · Web design experience· Knowledge in wireless communications· Knowledge of the Web world· BS degree in Computer Science · Good understanding of business environment and goals a system needs to help achieving.· Proven track record in building out modular systems  · Experience in a lead role demonstrating the ability to earn the trust of the teams they work with.· Recent coding experience not a must, but must be familiar with coding, leading code reviews, authoring and reviewing design documentation as well as maintaining an end to end perspective of the projectTravel/Relocation:Some travel may be required for this position.  Domestic relocation assistance is available.
