Summary

 

The Web Developer / Designer will design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. Create and enhance site design, layout, content and navigation to provide a highly relevant and usable site experience. 

 

The Web Developer participates in the testing process through testing review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to generate applications that are relevant to real world business challenges and have the ability to take direction as well as to work independently or as part of a team on assigned tasks

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Expert knowledge of design software including Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator Develop and enhance the Burstek website Develop web 2.0 applications Designing and developing the graphical user interface of web based systems Work closely with marketing and development teams Responsible for the technical maintenance of www.burstek.com and Intranet websites Developing time estimates and identifying project milestones

 

Requirements and Qualifications:Content Management System (Drupal, EZ Publish, etc…) WEB 2.0 PHP CSS MYSQL SQL Perl Javascript AJAX LAMP XML C# ASP.NET E-Commerce Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent command of English language
