Web Developer - VB.Net, VS.Net, XML, ASP - DIRECT HIRE

Permanent – DIRECT HIRE BY CLIENT

This position is responsible for development of web applications and interfacing using .NET Framework, Java and Lotus Notes.

Incumbent is subject to call-back to cover all plant shift operations and is required to be on-call as scheduled by the immediate supervisor.  Frequent overtime ability is required.  Must cultivate a close working relationship with groups at other plant locations.  Some travel to sites outside the US may be necessary.

Principle Responsibilities:
- Provide development and documentation of agreed upon business solution using approved tools for development of Lotus Notes and web based applications
- Responsible for system functionality configuration and routine maintenance for system and data
- Responsible as main coordinator and liaison between department owning system, system vendor and IT
- Responsible for review, evaluation, recommendation and coordination of all package updates, additions, and fixes
- Adherence to system validation standards for use in computer systems as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) including maintaining systems documentation in accordance with company policy
- Provide support for and participation in cross-functional support and activities for efficient operation of Information Technology group
- Support of Disaster Recovery Plan for responsible systems

Requirements Specifications
- 4 year college degree or 2 year degree with equivalent technical knowledge and experience or equivalent technical knowledge and experience.
- 3+ years web development experience using Visual Basic, C# or Java
- 4+ years experience with Lotus Notes development

Specialized Knowledge / Skills:
- Must be self starter with ability to work as part of team and unsupervised
- Must have excellent people skills
- Must be able to identify, analyze, and resolve systems issues
- Must have detailed experience with Windows XP, Lotus Notes products, MS SQL Server or other database products, `MS Visual Basic .Net, MS Visual Studio .NET, Web server such as IIS or Apache, XML, ASP, creation of web services, and with a product such as Dream Weaver MX or Cold Fusion
- Experience with Intel compatible PC’s

Pluses
- Experience with Networking, MS Office 2003 (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- C#, Java, MS Access development experience
- Experience with Hyperion products such as Essbase and Analyzer and portals
- Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish
