POSITION SUMMARY:This role is responsible for design, development, and implementation of web-based software applications for a Production (E&P) business. This position will work closely with other IS and business stakeholders throughout the function to troubleshoot, debug and implement software code as needed for the corporate Internet and Intranet and associated products and technologies.ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Work in conjunction with other members of the Web Services team to deliver web based solutions in accordance with E&P Enterprise Architecture using defined tools, practices, principles and procedures.Work with the Web Services Team Lead to identify emerging technologies that will benefit the E&P organizationWorking with the Global Collaboration Group to develop, maintain and promote viable, sustainable web-services architecture for the E&P business.Including (but not limited to):a.Web based development (Applications, Static Sites and Web Services)b.Sharepoint development and managementc.Visual Studio development architecturesd.Exploitation of Search technologiese.Exploitation of Media Servicesf.Compliance with developing Enterprise Architectureg.The E&P Web Services Project Portfolioh.The E&P Web Services Application Portfolioi.New initiativesSKILLS/COMPETENCIES:Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various disciplines and levels within the organization.Ability to organize and prioritize work activities to support of business objectives.Interpersonal and teamwork/collaboration skills.Good communication and presentation skills.Strong written, verbal (English), and PC skills (Excel, Word, Access, and Project)EXPERIENCE:3 Years of relevant experienceReports to the Supervisor, E&P Web Services.
