Web/Graphics Designer

Opportunity:

We are seeking a web and graphics designer with exceptional web development skills and a sound understanding of interactive web applications with a database back-end.  Candidate must be self-motivated with a strong ability to manage projects independently.  We are looking for a multi-talented individual with project management ability and a proven expertise and great attention to detail is what this position calls for.

 

Responsibilities:

· Possess well-developed page layout and creative design skills for web and Windows applications, including static and rich media banner ads, microsites, brochures, marketing flyers, direct mail, Html e-mails, print advertisements, and logos.

 

· This position requires the ability to consistently produce a high quality work, meet tight deadlines and follow-up with clients to complete assignments on time. Must possess a positive attitude, a great work ethic and willingness to see projects through to completion. Great customer service skills are a must.

 

· Additional responsibilities include:

 

· Understanding target audiences of targeted industry segments

 

· Contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief in the initial concept phase and to contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief in the initial concept phase of a project.

 

· Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts

 

· Thorough understanding of a project development cycle and time limits, all of which can impact on the design.


Qualifications:

· A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of experience in Graphic Design and Computer Graphics.

· Proficiency with state-of-the-art software to produce accurate and innovative graphic design; to include Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

· Comprehensive knowledge of graphic design principles, and a wide variety of media.

· Demonstrated excellence in graphic design, typography, color sense and a high degree of innovation through a professional portfolio.

· Excellent creative problem solving skills for visual information design.

· Candidate will be a supportive team member as well as work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills required.

· Flexible and adaptable to change.

· Detailed oriented with the ability to follow directions within the corporate standards.
