Web Programmer
This position is responsible for assisting with daily maintenance and creative processes for our US website and, at times, our UK website. This position is collaborative with our marketing area, to coordinate sales, special events, etc., that are posted on our website. Skills necessary for this position are: hands on knowledge of current web markup or scripting languages: HTML, XHTML, Java Script, and CSS. This candidate must have a clear understanding of dynamic or active web content and the use of classic ASP, NET, and SQL. We would like someone with extensive experience with desktop publishing/imaging applications, Photoshop, Fireworks, Freehand, Illustrator, and Flash. Please have an understanding of site architecture, user experience, color theory and color management on the web, proper file formats, compression methods and techniques. Someone with a Bachelors degree in computer science or graphic design is ideal, but we will substitute education for years experience. This is a dynamic, fast- paced fun job.
