Web Project Support Specialist/ Facilities

Under minimal supervision the System Support Specialist provides support, maintenance and operation of a web based project system used to organize, track, and report on University Facilities projects.Responsibilities include: -Supports the integration of new technologies into the project system. Provides technical assistance, guidance and training to staff and project system users.-Supports new user training and system training as additional project system features are implemented and rolled out.-Maintains user accounts, permissions, and project transaction exceptions.-Reinforces the project system purpose, direction and goals when assisting users.-Acts as a liaison for the business process group for any user needs or conflicts that may arise. -Develop and maintain documentation needed to support staff, including troubleshooting steps, installation instructions, new tools overviews and contact lists. -Performs investigation and analysis to solve problems. -Provides system software support, including ancillary software products. -Directs trouble resolution activities, coordinating with technical staff, and vendors. -Performs limited system software administrator functions and responsibilities. -Partly responsible for the effectiveness, quality and timeliness of trouble resolution, quality of service and implementation success. Required Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree Prefer recent graduates with 0-2 years work experience.
