Webmaster
The American College of Radiology, a professional association for radiologists, has an opening for a Webmaster to work in their Marketing Communications & Public Relations department. This dynamic, self-motivated individual will have experience and skills in web content management, graphic design, web analysis, and website development and site management. The Webmaster will lead the development and implementation of website redesigns working with program staff to develop concepts to meet their objectives; assist with the maintenance of the web and e-commerce activities of the organization; assist with the development of marketing activities for the web; manage the online publishing tool (CMS) and train and supervise staff; and will establish policies and procedures for managing the website and management of selected vendors supporting the site. The Webmaster should be familiar with Web 2.0 concepts and tools to suggest and implement new technologies to expand ACR web offerings. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field; 8+ years experience in website design, development, analysis, and maintenance; advanced experience with web programming in HTML; demonstrated knowledge of social media (Blogs, MySpace, Facebook); advanced CSS, JavaScript, XML, ASP, PHP required; familiarity with SQL, MySQL, ASP.NET, XHTML, and Visual Basic; and demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities.
