Webmaster / Bus. Analyst/Programmer - Houston

Organizational Statement Enbridge Energy Company, Inc, a leader in crude and natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing has a newly created opening for a Sr. Programmer/Analyst. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of all Enbridge US external websites.Responsibilities ¿ Design, develop, monitor, maintain and update the existing Enbridge US websites¿ Collaborate with business users on all website content, structure & ideas¿ Provide production support of all current Enbridge US websites¿ Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite 3 (Flash, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)¿ Exposure to Silverlight or Quicktime a plus¿ Strong HTML & JavaScript skills, with exposure to ASP.Net¿ Working knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005 database platforms¿ Experience with Ektron Content Management System (CMS) Software a plus ¿ Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects and priorities¿ Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.¿Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team and business members.¿ Understand client organization's direction, structure, and requirements.¿ In conjunction with the help desk personnel, provide 24 x 7 on-call support of software applications as required.Qualifications ¿ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with a strong web development emphasis.¿ Minimum of 6+ years experience in all phases of the project life cycle.¿ Strong understanding of information technology and its application to solving business problems. ¿ Previous experience developing and supporting software applications in web technologies.¿ Gas pipeline industry experience, a plus.¿ Good communication skills and enterprise perspective.Equal Employment Opportunity We appreciate your interest in Enbridge Energy Company, Inc.
