The Position:
REDPLAID is growing rapidly to keep up with customer demand, and we are hiring entry level technical positions that will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting Windows/Linux server issues and network issues. These positions are shift positions. We operate in 3 shifts, 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm and 11pm - 7am. Weekend and Holiday shifts are required.  We rotate the shifts on a quarterly basis. We have openings in our Creve Coeur, Missouri location.  As an important member of our technology support team, you will get to:
Respond to customer calls and/or online support tickets Review and create support tickets Manage and monitor data backups Monitor Windows & Linux servers for errors, alerts and security conditions Provide first level problem determination Escalate issues to senior engineers Receive training and mentoring in networking, server operations & security!


What You Need For This Position:
You must:
Have a basic understanding of Windows or Linux Operating Systems & networks Have good problem solving skills Possess solid verbal and written communication skills Be good at working with others Be able to thrive in a dynamic environment & work independently Be able to pass a background check to include drug screening Fit within our mandatory "No Jerks Allowed" company policy Be able to work in the St. Louis area
