Windows Systems Engineer

CIBER Corporation has immediate opportunities for Windows Systems Engineers experienced with: Supporting the deployment of web applications from development to production deployment  Maintaining all down-level environments, including Dev, Test, QA and Project   Providing on-site services to support projects  Designing server infrastructure solutions, monitoring and alerting server and system  issues  Analyzing and resolving complex client and server issues Supporting the computer and network systems Administering, supporting, and enhancing Microsoft Windows Server-based client/server technology solutions  General Firewall familiarity and security principles  Improving existing practices, procedures, and technology implementations  Familiarity OS-level and Hardware-level architecture to derive solutions and remediation's for observed issues  Ensure 24X7 uptime for production systems  Creating and implementing solutions to business problemsQualifications: 6+ years experience in a technical support position in a client/server environment Experience with Windows 2000 & 2003 Server Hands-on experience managing web sites running on Microsoft  IIS, SharePoint Services, Active Directory and Group Policy  On-Call support of production systems in a 24X7 eCommerce environment Familiarity with Server Load Balancing technologies Experience with remote deployment and monitoring technologies Experience with Exchange Server, SMTP, and Sendmail products Server Hardware knowledge, including SANs and Blade server technologies  Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP  Experience with server virtualization and consolidation technologies  Experience with web development lifecycle support  Experience with MS SQL Server, VBScript, Perl, disaster recovery planning and security audit compliance are not required but are desired Please email your resume to pmartenson@ciber.com and reference code WSE-PM We offer excellent compensation and flexible benefit plans including medical and dental insurance, holiday pay and paid time off, 401(k) with match, and an employee stock purchase plan.
