Windows Systems Management Specialist - 2nd shift

 

Windows /NT System Management Specialist, Boulder, CO (2nd shift)

 

I would appreciate if you can send me your opinion and resume in word format for the position listed below. This is a 12+ months contract for a client based in Boulder, CO. The job details are enclosed below:

 

Applicant must have strong system administration and management skills for Microsoft Windows Server Platforms including NT Server, Server 2000 and Server 2003. Applicant must also have working knowledge of Microsoft Clustering. Applicant will perform all typical SA duties including trouble shooting, problem solving, server outage resolution, on-site touch, server patching, server monitoring. Applicant must also adhere to all change/problem management systems.

 

Requirements:

Applicant must have MCSE certification in Windows 2000 or 2003

Have 3-5 years of hands on experience

TCP/IP, DNS, WINS DHCP knowledge and troubleshooting.

CITRIX support knowledge and troubleshooting

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Hardware knowledge of Compaq, HP and Dell servers

Troubleshoot hardware problems of Compaq, HP and Dell servers

Understand server build best practices

Microsoft Clustering

Perform monthly patching duties as needed.

Be available to work 7x24 as needed.

 

Fundamental Windows Skill Set:

Windows NT Server 4.0, Windows 2000 Server Windows 2003 Server

Windows 2000 Professional Windows XP Professional

HP Blade knowledge and support

Build Windows 2000 and 2003 servers to specific requirements

Active Directory understanding and knowledge

VMWARE

Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, IT Architecture

TCP/IP configuration and planning

Microsoft Office Suite 95, 97, 2000 and 2003

2nd shift - Wed-Sun

 

Pay rate: $33.65 per hour as W2 with no benefits or 1099.
