dcLINK Project Manager

Our client has selected Tuxedo Technologies Group to develop enterprise-wide and highly complex information systems using the latest Microsoft advanced technologies. We are looking for individuals that have superior technical and interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to positively contribute to a team environment. We are looking for staff to work within our teams of developers, project managers, network engineers, analysts and testers to produce and manage top quality business applications for some of the largest companies in the area and the world.


We are looking for an experienced iSeries AS/400 Project Manger with DSI dcLINK data collection intergration experience.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience that includes the AS/400 or iSeries environment.  You will be working in a team consisting of analysts, programmers, and testers. 



 The right candidate must be able to perform the following functions:  Detail oriented individual who can state the projects direction and lead the team to that goal.  Work with business subject matter experts and other developers to enhance existing business applications and create new functionality. Work with business users, executive management, technical staff and outside vendors to implement a custom solution consisting of enhancements to the existing environment and new application development for new functionality.  Assist in Development and enforcement of IT Best Practices, project standards, and documentation.



RequirementsSkills & Abilities 5 - 10 + years experience leading successful projects. Strong capabilities in the manufacturing, logistics or warehousing environments, including RPG and SQL on an iSeries/AS400.
Ability to lead application design (files, screens, jobs, dependencies). Demonstrated ability to lead quality focused, writing use cases, sequence diagrams, etc Ability to effectively oversee unit and system testing of applications and enhancements Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to follow priorities and timelines. Experience with DcLINK, DSI, RFID, handheld devices, realtime data capture Capabilities in some of the following would be a plus: business analysis, barcoding implementations, distribution or transportation systems including (FedEx, UPS, DHL, international freight), MS Access, medium to strong MS Visio, MS Project Sever, operations support or mentoring, and report scripting.  Great interpersonal skills. Effective time management skills. Ability to interface with all levels of management and employees (verbal and written). Must be able to establish and maintain good relations to understand and readily adapt to changing demands and needs of management. Ability to continually evaluate and prioritize tasks.
